  • 1.  THE KNITTED TEXTURE HELPS CLEAN DIRTY DISHES

The texture of the knit really helps with cleaning. It’s not going to scrub off burnt-on food, but it’s just textured enough to make cleaning dishes easier. The texture really makes it easy to get all that dried on weetbix and oatmeal off the table - and that stuff really can stick.

    2.  ORGANIC COTTON IS HYGIENIC ON YOUR WORKSPACES

The loose cotton weave breathes and any crumbs and dirty stuff rinses straight off.  Cotton can be safely washed in a machine hot wash, unlike many manmade fibres.  Use a new one each day to keep them smelling neutral.

    3. KNITTED CLOTHS ARE BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Of course, to reuse a dishcloth rather than using disposables, you're reducing landfill.

But there's anothe reason:  Microfibre cloths are made from plastic!  So they are a huge problem when entering landfills or oceans.  A natural fibre like cotton (Organic is best) can be added to the compost pile at the end of its life, which then gives back to the soil.
